A picture is worth a thousand words - please read this and check out my pictures before you call this company! We have been customers of Arctic Air for years and this is the installation they performed at our home. Incomplete wiring, pieces taped in place, instead of fully removing the old unit the new swamp cooler is taped to pieces of the old unit - since this was done on our roof, we might have never known how bad the installation was but it caused a leak in our living room and we’ve been stuck in a nightmare ever since.
If we want repairs done through them then we just need to sign a form releasing them of all liability - would you sign off on a company that performed THIS work to come fix it?
• This was installed 6/6
• Arctic Air performed repairs on the new unit on 6/8 (it was flooding our side yard due to an incorrect valve placement)
• There was a leak in our living room on 6/14 and an Arctic Air tech confirmed it was their responsibility and management would follow up
To date, we are still going back and forth while things stay broken and damaged in our home. Save yourself this trouble!

Thanks for the response Arctic Air - as of 07/08/26, our request was not approved by management. If they have changed their mind, we would appreciate a commitment in writing (via email).

They just keep getting better! I know it can be difficult in these times to trust companies to truly take care of you, do solid work, all at a fair price, but this company does! Had Joe come out and inspect my A/C unit. He was very thoughtful, complete and accommodating. 5 star is not enough. He gave some great recommendations without any high pressure sales and I am completely happy with adding these features to my home through the best A/C company I have worked with by far. Call them, use them and find trust again! Thank you Joe!

The gentleman that came out the week before to diagnose the problem gave us same info as the So Cal Gas representative. But, in addition to saying we were fortunate to be alive and should keep the heater pilot off, he came back the next day with a portable heater for our use until new heater could be installed on Monday .

The High Desert Is Hard on Agua Dulce Homes
Agua Dulce asks a lot of a home’s heating, cooling, and plumbing. Most homes here sit on big rural parcels in the Sierra Pelona Valley. Plenty run on their own well and septic. This is open, exposed high desert. The climate here wears heating, cooling, and plumbing down faster than a milder place would. A handful of local realities drive most of the calls we get out here.
- Long, hot summers. Summers in the valley run long and hot. Afternoons climb into the 90s and past 100. Air conditioners here run for hours at a time to keep up. That steady load wears a system down over a long cooling season.
- Cold nights at elevation. At around 2,500 feet, Agua Dulce cools off hard after sunset. Winter mornings can dip below freezing. A furnace or heat pump sits idle all summer, then gets its first real test on a hard cold snap. Exposed pipes on a rural lot are quick to feel a freeze too.
- Hard water, well or municipal. The water in the valley is hard, whether it comes from a private well or the local supply. The minerals leave scale inside water heaters, pipes, and fixtures. Well water often runs harder still. A failing hot water heater is one of the most common calls we get in Agua Dulce.
- Big lots and long rural lines. Agua Dulce properties tend to be large, with long supply and drain lines buried across them. Many homes run on a septic system instead of a city sewer. The ground out here shifts and swings with temperature. Those long buried runs feel every bit of that movement. It is why leak detection, drain, and sewer-line work come up a lot out here.
- Wind and blowing dust. The open valley and the canyons around Vasquez Rocks funnel wind across the area. That wind carries fine dust and grit. The dust packs AC condenser coils and clogs filters. That cuts airflow and makes a system work harder than it should. A seasonal tune-up is there to stay ahead of it.
This is the trade for the space and the quiet out here. A well-kept system takes these conditions in stride. Keeping yours there is our job, not yours. We look after Agua Dulce homes with all of it in mind.
