AC, Heating & Plumbing in Leona Valley, CA
Leona Valley's country homes deal with cold nights, wells, and hard water. Our licensed techs keep AC, heating, and plumbing running right.
Reliable HVAC & Plumbing Services for Leona Valley Homeowners
Leona Valley is cherry country. Come June, folks drive out for the u-pick orchards and the town’s cherry festival. Vineyards climb the hillsides between the ranches. The valley itself is a long, narrow rift, cradled by the San Andreas Fault and walled off from the desert by Ritter Ridge, about 10 miles west of Palmdale.
Arctic Air & Plumbing keeps these valley homes comfortable through cold winters and warm summers. We’re a residential HVAC and plumbing company out of Lancaster, and we’ve looked after homes in this area since 2009. One team handles all of it: your AC, your furnace, your water heater, and your drains. When the furnace quits on a freezing night or a well line gives out, we make the drive out and get your home working properly again.
AC, Heating & Plumbing Services in Leona Valley
Arctic Air & Plumbing covers a Leona Valley home end to end, heating, cooling, and plumbing. We keep the AC ready for warm afternoons and the furnace ready for freezing valley nights, all with one HVAC team. Our plumbers handle the water heater, the drains, and the long well and septic lines out on a rural property. Here’s what we take care of.
Air Conditioning
The valley’s elevation takes the edge off the worst heat. Even so, July and August bring plenty of hot afternoons. When the A/C gives out, our HVAC technicians usually have it cooling again in one visit. A summer tune-up heads off a breakdown before the hottest weeks.

- Seasonal AC Maintenance and Tune-Ups
Heating
Winters here are the real thing. Nights drop below freezing. Some years bring snow. When the furnace can’t keep the house warm, give us a call and we’ll get it going again. A tune-up before winter heads off a cold-night breakdown.

Plumbing
Out here it’s wells, septic, and hard water. All three keep our plumbers busy. The hard water leaves scale behind. Over time it shortens a water heater’s life and slows the pipes. Out on a big parcel, a leak in a well or septic line can run a while before it shows. We track it down and fix it right.

Why Leona Valley Homeowners Rely on Arctic Air
Leona Valley runs on ranch properties and custom homes, not tract houses. The plumbing and the systems out here aren’t one-size-fits-all. We know wells, septic, and older rural setups, because we’ve worked them out here since 2009. We answer any hour. We tell you the price before we start, and we back the work. Here’s why Leona Valley homeowners rely on us.
- HVAC and plumbing under one roof. One trusted team takes care of nearly everything your home needs, so you’re not juggling three different companies.
- Serving the Antelope Valley since 2009. We’ve spent years learning what the land and the winters do to a home out here, and we bring that experience to every Leona Valley call.
- Honest, upfront pricing. The price we quote is the price you pay, with no surprise charges added after the work is done.
- Straight answers, no pressure. We explain what’s wrong in plain terms and lay out your options fairly, whether that’s a simple repair or a full replacement. No scare tactics.
- Every major brand and system. Our HVAC technicians and plumbers work on all makes and models.
- 24/7 availability. A heat wave at midnight or a pipe that bursts before dawn needs an answer now, so we answer the phone around the clock.
The drive out to Leona Valley is no trouble for us. We answer when you call. We quote it straight, and we leave the job done right. Out here, word gets around. Our name is one folks pass along. That’s how we’ve earned Leona Valley’s trust since 2009.

A picture is worth a thousand words - please read this and check out my pictures before you call this company! We have been customers of Arctic Air for years and this is the installation they performed at our home. Incomplete wiring, pieces taped in place, instead of fully removing the old unit the new swamp cooler is taped to pieces of the old unit - since this was done on our roof, we might have never known how bad the installation was but it caused a leak in our living room and we’ve been stuck in a nightmare ever since.
If we want repairs done through them then we just need to sign a form releasing them of all liability - would you sign off on a company that performed THIS work to come fix it?
• This was installed 6/6
• Arctic Air performed repairs on the new unit on 6/8 (it was flooding our side yard due to an incorrect valve placement)
• There was a leak in our living room on 6/14 and an Arctic Air tech confirmed it was their responsibility and management would follow up
To date, we are still going back and forth while things stay broken and damaged in our home. Save yourself this trouble!

Thanks for the response Arctic Air - as of 07/08/26, our request was not approved by management. If they have changed their mind, we would appreciate a commitment in writing (via email).

They just keep getting better! I know it can be difficult in these times to trust companies to truly take care of you, do solid work, all at a fair price, but this company does! Had Joe come out and inspect my A/C unit. He was very thoughtful, complete and accommodating. 5 star is not enough. He gave some great recommendations without any high pressure sales and I am completely happy with adding these features to my home through the best A/C company I have worked with by far. Call them, use them and find trust again! Thank you Joe!

The gentleman that came out the week before to diagnose the problem gave us same info as the So Cal Gas representative. But, in addition to saying we were fortunate to be alive and should keep the heater pilot off, he came back the next day with a portable heater for our use until new heater could be installed on Monday .

Why the High Valley Is Hard on Leona Valley Homes
Leona Valley sits at about 3,500 feet, a long rift valley tucked behind Ritter Ridge on the San Andreas Fault. Homes here are rural, spread across ranches, orchards, and big custom lots. The elevation, the cold winters, the well water, and the ground itself all wear on a home out here:
- Cold winters at 3,500 feet. Winter nights here drop well below freezing. Some winters bring snow. Your furnace carries the house through a long, cold season. An unchecked heater can fail on the coldest night of the year.
- Warm afternoons, cool valley. The elevation keeps Leona Valley cooler than the desert floor below. Even so, summer afternoons climb into the 90s. The sun sits hard on a west-facing room. A working A/C still matters here. A tune-up keeps it ready through the warm months.
- Hard well water. Most homes here run on a private well. That well water is hard. The minerals coat the inside of your water heater and pipes. Left unchecked, they eat away at a water heater and choke the flow. It’s some of the steadiest plumbing work we have in the valley.
- The San Andreas underfoot. Leona Valley sits right in the San Andreas rift. The whole valley was carved by the fault. That slow, constant movement works on slab foundations and buried lines year after year. It drives a lot of our leak and sewer-line calls, especially on the long pipe runs out here.
- Big rural parcels. Homes here sit on ranches, orchards, and acre lots, far apart from each other. Water and septic lines stretch far across the land, often out in the open. A break or a slow leak out on the property can go unnoticed for weeks. A hard freeze can split an exposed line overnight.
None of this is a surprise to us after years in the valley. We know what the cold, the wells, and the fault ground do to a home out here. A little maintenance before winter and summer keeps a small issue from becoming a cold night with no heat. Steady upkeep is cheaper and calmer than an emergency in January. We bring that same care to every home in the valley.
