AC, Heating & Plumbing in Pearblossom, CA
Out in Pearblossom the desert sun is intense and many homes run on wells. We keep AC, heating, and plumbing dependable with fast, straight-talking service.
Reliable HVAC & Plumbing Services for Pearblossom Homeowners
Pearblossom took its name from the pear orchards along the southern edge of the Antelope Valley. Most of those orchards are long gone now, back to open desert. The name stuck. Today the town runs along Highway 138 at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains, about 15 miles southeast of Palmdale, a gateway to the foothills and the trails above.
Arctic Air & Plumbing keeps Pearblossom homes comfortable through scorching summers and hard-frozen winter nights. We’re a residential HVAC and plumbing company based in Lancaster, and we’ve served this end of the valley since 2009. One team handles all of it: your AC, your furnace, your water heater, and your drains. When the AC quits in July or a pipe freezes and splits in January, we make the drive out and get your home working properly again.
AC, Heating & Plumbing Services in Pearlblossom
For Pearblossom, Arctic Air & Plumbing is one call for your heating, your cooling, and your plumbing. Our HVAC side keeps the AC alive through the summer and the furnace ready for the hard winter cold. Our plumbers handle the water heater, the drains, and the pipes running out to a rural home. Here’s what we take care of.
Air Conditioning
Summer here is punishing, with July afternoons near 100. Your AC runs hard for months to keep up. When it gives out, our HVAC technicians usually sort it in one trip. A spring tune-up keeps a small fault from becoming a July breakdown.
- Air Conditioning Repair
- AC Installation and Replacement
- Central Air, Ductless Mini-Splits, and Heat Pumps
- Seasonal AC Maintenance and Tune-Ups
Heating
Down at the mountains’ foot, winter nights here can drop into the teens, colder than most of the valley. Your furnace earns its keep from December through February. When it can’t keep up, reach us any hour and we’ll get you warm again. A fall tune-up is cheap insurance against a mid-winter failure.
- Furnace Repair
- Furnace Installation and Replacement
- Heat Pump Service
- Heating Maintenance and Tune-Ups
Plumbing
Hard water and hard freezes are the two things toughest on Pearblossom plumbing. The hard water scales up your water heater and pipes over the years. One hard freeze is enough to burst an unprotected pipe. Our plumbers handle both, plus the drains and the sewer or septic lines.
- Emergency Plumbing
- Water Heater Repair and Replacement
- Tankless Water Heater Installation
- Leak Detection Services
- Slab Leak Detection and Repair
- Drain Cleaning
- Sewer Line Repair and Installation
- Trenchless Sewer Line Installation
- Sewer Camera Inspections
- Gas Line Repair and Installation

- Sink Repair and Installation
- Garbage Disposal Services
All of your cooling, heating, and plumbing needs under one roof. Arctic Air & Plumbing has you covered.

A picture is worth a thousand words - please read this and check out my pictures before you call this company! We have been customers of Arctic Air for years and this is the installation they performed at our home. Incomplete wiring, pieces taped in place, instead of fully removing the old unit the new swamp cooler is taped to pieces of the old unit - since this was done on our roof, we might have never known how bad the installation was but it caused a leak in our living room and we’ve been stuck in a nightmare ever since.
If we want repairs done through them then we just need to sign a form releasing them of all liability - would you sign off on a company that performed THIS work to come fix it?
• This was installed 6/6
• Arctic Air performed repairs on the new unit on 6/8 (it was flooding our side yard due to an incorrect valve placement)
• There was a leak in our living room on 6/14 and an Arctic Air tech confirmed it was their responsibility and management would follow up
To date, we are still going back and forth while things stay broken and damaged in our home. Save yourself this trouble!

Thanks for the response Arctic Air - as of 07/08/26, our request was not approved by management. If they have changed their mind, we would appreciate a commitment in writing (via email).

They just keep getting better! I know it can be difficult in these times to trust companies to truly take care of you, do solid work, all at a fair price, but this company does! Had Joe come out and inspect my A/C unit. He was very thoughtful, complete and accommodating. 5 star is not enough. He gave some great recommendations without any high pressure sales and I am completely happy with adding these features to my home through the best A/C company I have worked with by far. Call them, use them and find trust again! Thank you Joe!

The gentleman that came out the week before to diagnose the problem gave us same info as the So Cal Gas representative. But, in addition to saying we were fortunate to be alive and should keep the heater pilot off, he came back the next day with a portable heater for our use until new heater could be installed on Monday .

Why the Heat and the Cold Are Hard on Pearblossom Homes
Pearblossom sits at about 3,150 feet along the southern edge of the Antelope Valley, tucked up against the San Gabriel foothills. The homes here are rural, scattered across former orchard parcels and open desert. The jump from 100-degree summers to hard-freezing winters, plus the hard water and the wind, all wear on a home out here:
- Blazing summers. July and August afternoons run near 100 degrees. The sun is relentless on the open desert. Your AC runs for hours to hold the house cool. Season after season of that is what wears a system down early.
- Hard winter cold. Sitting up against the mountains at 3,150 feet, Pearblossom gets colder than most of the valley. Winter nights fall into the 20s. Some mornings drop near single digits. Your furnace runs long and hard for months. The coldest night is exactly when a neglected furnace gives out.
- Wind and dust. A lot of the old pear ground has gone back to bare desert. The wind lifts that loose soil and drives it across town. It cakes the AC coils and loads a filter fast. What gets inside settles on everything. A clean system and fresh filters are the way to stay ahead of it.
- Hard desert water. The water here comes up hard, the way it does across the high desert. Its minerals build a layer of scale in your water heater and pipes. That scale only thickens with time. A water heater cut short by scale is one of our regular calls in Pearblossom.
- Freeze-prone pipes. With the cold this sharp, an exposed pipe is at real risk on a hard-freeze night. Homes here sit on big lots. Water lines often run long and out in the open. A split line out on the property can leak for a while before anyone notices. A little insulation and a pre-winter check head off most of it.
None of this throws us. We’ve kept Pearblossom homes running through hot summers and cold winters for years, and we know where the trouble starts. A tune-up before summer and again before winter keeps a small fault from turning into a 100-degree afternoon with no AC or a frozen pipe in January. Steady upkeep is the cheapest comfort there is. It’s how we keep Pearblossom comfortable, year after year.
