AC, Heating & Plumbing Services in Green Valley
Arctic Air & Plumbing has you covered in Green Valley. On the HVAC side, we keep your furnace ready for winter and your AC ready for summer. Our plumbers look after the water heater, the drains, and every line in between. Here’s what we do.
Air Conditioning
When the afternoon heat is too much for your A/C, our HVAC technicians usually get it cooling again the same day. A yearly tune-up keeps it from quitting when you need it.
- Air Conditioning Repair
- AC Installation and Replacement
- Central Air, Ductless Mini-Splits, and Heat Pumps
- Seasonal AC Maintenance and Tune-Ups
Heating
When the canyon cold takes your heat down, we get the furnace back up fast. A fall tune-up catches the weak parts before the freeze does.
- Furnace Repair
- Furnace Installation and Replacement
- Heat Pump Service
- Heating Maintenance and Tune-Ups
Plumbing
Oak roots and hard well water are tough on canyon plumbing. Our plumbers work on both all the time. A root-blocked sewer line and a scaled-up water heater are the usual calls. Left alone, either one only gets worse.

Why Green Valley Homeowners Rely on Arctic Air
Green Valley is a small community. When something breaks, folks here ask a neighbor first. Here’s why homeowners call on Arctic Air.
- HVAC and plumbing under one roof. One trusted team takes care of nearly everything your home needs, so you’re not juggling three different companies.
- Serving the Antelope Valley since 2009. We’ve spent years learning how the desert treats a home out here, and we bring that experience to every Green Valley call.
- Honest, upfront pricing. The price we quote is the price you pay, with no surprise charges added after the work is done.
- Straight answers, no pressure. We explain what’s wrong in plain terms and lay out your options fairly, whether that’s a simple repair or a full replacement. No scare tactics.
- Every major brand and system. Our HVAC technicians and plumbers work on all makes and models.
- 24/7 availability. A heat wave at midnight or a pipe that bursts before dawn needs an answer now, so we answer the phone around the clock.
The drive up the canyon doesn’t scare us off. We show up when we say we will, and we do the job right the first time. Green Valley has counted on us for years. We plan to keep it that way.

A picture is worth a thousand words - please read this and check out my pictures before you call this company! We have been customers of Arctic Air for years and this is the installation they performed at our home. Incomplete wiring, pieces taped in place, instead of fully removing the old unit the new swamp cooler is taped to pieces of the old unit - since this was done on our roof, we might have never known how bad the installation was but it caused a leak in our living room and we’ve been stuck in a nightmare ever since.
If we want repairs done through them then we just need to sign a form releasing them of all liability - would you sign off on a company that performed THIS work to come fix it?
• This was installed 6/6
• Arctic Air performed repairs on the new unit on 6/8 (it was flooding our side yard due to an incorrect valve placement)
• There was a leak in our living room on 6/14 and an Arctic Air tech confirmed it was their responsibility and management would follow up
To date, we are still going back and forth while things stay broken and damaged in our home. Save yourself this trouble!

Thanks for the response Arctic Air - as of 07/08/26, our request was not approved by management. If they have changed their mind, we would appreciate a commitment in writing (via email).

They just keep getting better! I know it can be difficult in these times to trust companies to truly take care of you, do solid work, all at a fair price, but this company does! Had Joe come out and inspect my A/C unit. He was very thoughtful, complete and accommodating. 5 star is not enough. He gave some great recommendations without any high pressure sales and I am completely happy with adding these features to my home through the best A/C company I have worked with by far. Call them, use them and find trust again! Thank you Joe!

The gentleman that came out the week before to diagnose the problem gave us same info as the So Cal Gas representative. But, in addition to saying we were fortunate to be alive and should keep the heater pilot off, he came back the next day with a portable heater for our use until new heater could be installed on Monday .

Why the Canyon Is Hard on Green Valley Homes
Green Valley sits low in San Francisquito Canyon, wrapped in oak woodland and the Angeles National Forest. At nearly 3,000 feet, the canyon runs cooler than the valley. Cold air still pools on the floor at night. Homes here are rural and spread along the canyon and its side roads. Most run on their own well and septic. The canyon, the cold, the trees, and the well water each leave their mark on a home:
- Cold canyon nights. The canyon traps cold air after dark. On winter nights, the floor sits well below freezing. A furnace has to hold the house steady through long, cold stretches. A heater failure in January is a serious problem out here.
- Warm, not scorching, summers. Summers in the canyon are warm, not scorching. The oak shade and elevation take the edge off the worst heat. Even so, an air conditioner earns its keep on the hottest afternoons. A summer tune-up keeps it ready for them.
- Oaks and their roots. Oaks grow thick through Green Valley. Their roots run wide and deep. They push into buried sewer and drain lines and break them open over the years. That’s behind a lot of our drain and sewer calls up here.
- Hard well water. Nearly every home here draws from a private well. That canyon water runs hard. Left alone, it scales up your water heater and narrows your pipes. Worn-out water heaters are a steady part of our work up here.
- Steep canyon lots. Green Valley’s lots climb the canyon walls and stretch along the creek. Water and sewer lines run long distances over steep, uneven ground. Most homes sit on a septic system out here, with no city sewer for miles. All that terrain is why leak detection and sewer work stay busy out here.
Canyon living comes with a little extra upkeep. That’s a fair trade for the quiet. Regular maintenance keeps the small problems from turning into big ones. We’d sooner spot trouble early than field a panicked call at midnight. We bring that to every Green Valley home.
