Green Valley sits low in San Francisquito Canyon, wrapped in oak woodland and the Angeles National Forest. At nearly 3,000 feet, the canyon runs cooler than the valley. Cold air still pools on the floor at night. Homes here are rural and spread along the canyon and its side roads. Most run on their own well and septic.
