Littlerock summers run hot and the hard water is rough on plumbing. We keep your AC, heating, and plumbing in shape with fast, honest service.
Reliable HVAC & Plumbing Services for Littlerock Homeowners
Littlerock has been the fruit basket of the Antelope Valley for over a century. Peach, apple, and pear orchards still line Highway 138. The town sits at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains, about 11 miles southeast of Palmdale.
Arctic Air & Plumbing keeps these homes comfortable through hot summers and cold desert nights. We’re a residential HVAC and plumbing company based in Lancaster, and we’ve served the Antelope Valley since 2009. One team handles all of it: your AC, your furnace, your water heater, and your drains. When the AC quits in the summer heat or a pipe gives out overnight, we make the drive out and get your home working properly again.

Why Littlerock Homeowners Rely on Arctic Air
In a small farm town like Littlerock, a company’s name is everything. It only lasts here if it does right by people. We’ve been the Antelope Valley’s HVAC and plumbing team since 2009, long enough that plenty of our Littlerock calls come from folks we’ve worked for before. We answer any hour. We quote the price before we start, and we stand behind the work. Here’s why Littlerock homeowners rely on us.
- HVAC and plumbing under one roof. One trusted team takes care of nearly everything your home needs, so you’re not juggling three different companies.
- Serving the Antelope Valley since 2009. We’ve spent years learning how the desert treats a home out here, and we bring that experience to every Littlerock call.
- Honest, upfront pricing. The price we quote is the price you pay, with no surprise charges added after the work is done.
- Straight answers, no pressure. We explain what’s wrong in plain terms and lay out your options fairly, whether that’s a simple repair or a full replacement. No scare tactics.
- Every major brand and system. Our HVAC technicians and plumbers work on all makes and models.
- 24/7 availability. A heat wave at midnight or a pipe that bursts before dawn needs an answer now, so we answer the phone around the clock.
The drive out to Littlerock is nothing to us. We do what we say, and we back every repair with a guarantee. That’s how you earn a good name in a small town. It’s the only way we’ve ever worked.

A picture is worth a thousand words - please read this and check out my pictures before you call this company! We have been customers of Arctic Air for years and this is the installation they performed at our home. Incomplete wiring, pieces taped in place, instead of fully removing the old unit the new swamp cooler is taped to pieces of the old unit - since this was done on our roof, we might have never known how bad the installation was but it caused a leak in our living room and we’ve been stuck in a nightmare ever since.
If we want repairs done through them then we just need to sign a form releasing them of all liability - would you sign off on a company that performed THIS work to come fix it?
• This was installed 6/6
• Arctic Air performed repairs on the new unit on 6/8 (it was flooding our side yard due to an incorrect valve placement)
• There was a leak in our living room on 6/14 and an Arctic Air tech confirmed it was their responsibility and management would follow up
To date, we are still going back and forth while things stay broken and damaged in our home. Save yourself this trouble!

Thanks for the response Arctic Air - as of 07/08/26, our request was not approved by management. If they have changed their mind, we would appreciate a commitment in writing (via email).

They just keep getting better! I know it can be difficult in these times to trust companies to truly take care of you, do solid work, all at a fair price, but this company does! Had Joe come out and inspect my A/C unit. He was very thoughtful, complete and accommodating. 5 star is not enough. He gave some great recommendations without any high pressure sales and I am completely happy with adding these features to my home through the best A/C company I have worked with by far. Call them, use them and find trust again! Thank you Joe!

The gentleman that came out the week before to diagnose the problem gave us same info as the So Cal Gas representative. But, in addition to saying we were fortunate to be alive and should keep the heater pilot off, he came back the next day with a portable heater for our use until new heater could be installed on Monday .

Why the Desert and the Mountains Are Hard on Littlerock Homes
Littlerock sits where the high desert meets the San Gabriel Mountains, at about 2,890 feet on the southern edge of the Antelope Valley. Homes here are rural, spread across big lots and old orchard land, out in the open. The heat, the cold off the mountains, the wind, and the coarse wash soil all wear on a home out here:
- Long, hot summers. Summer afternoons out here push past 100 degrees, day after day. The AC runs for hours to keep up, with no relief until the sun drops. All that runtime wears parts out sooner than you’d expect.
- Cold air off the mountains. Sitting right at the base of the San Gabriels, Littlerock catches the cold air draining off the slopes after dark. Winter nights drop below freezing. A late frost can hit the orchards well into spring. Your furnace has to hold the house through all of it.
- Wind and blowing sand. The pass at the foot of the mountains funnels hard wind across Littlerock. The sandy wash gives it plenty to carry. That sand scours the AC coils and plugs the filter fast. From there it works its way into the house. A clean system and a fresh filter are what keep the air moving and the dust down.
- Hard desert water. Antelope Valley groundwater carries a heavy mineral load. Littlerock’s tap water is no exception. That scale builds up in the water heater and narrows the pipes over time. It’s why a failing water heater is one of our most common calls out here.
- Sandy, rocky wash ground. Littlerock is named for the wash. Much of the town sits on the coarse, sandy ground of the old wash. That loose ground shifts and washes when a rare mountain storm sends water down from the slopes. Over the years, that movement works on buried pipes and slab foundations. It feeds a steady share of our leak and sewer-line calls.
None of this is anything new to us. Littlerock homes have their quirks. After years out here, we know them well. A little maintenance in the spring and fall keeps the heat, the cold, and the grit from turning small problems into big ones. We’d rather catch a worn part early than get the no-cooling call in August. That’s how we look after every Littlerock home.
